So I got an email today from Verizon..if you have Verizon Service make sure you check into this...Here is what it said.
So naturally I asked them not to share my CPNI, upon doing so I was prompted to a page of Frequently asked questions...this is the first most asked....
What is CPNI?
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) is information created by virtue of your
relationship with Verizon Wireless. This information includes: services purchased (including
specific calls you make and receive), related local and toll billing information, the type,
destination, technical configuration, location and amount of use of purchased services
yeah thats right...The phone calls you MAKE and RECEIVE sounds like a more polite version of the patriot act to me. Thanks Verizon.

The Law of Nines
Terry Goodkind, Author of the Sword of Truth Series released another book last month, titled "The Law of Nines" I am at this point on Chapter 22. This book is a triumph for Mr. Goodkind. He is Softer than ever.
Spoiler if you haven't finished the Sword of Truth series
A selection from "Confessor" (Hardcover)
Chapter 63 pg 590
"Yes, I can see how simple it is" Zedd muttered to himself as he poked a finger through his thatch of unruly white hair to scratch his scalp.
Nathan snapped his fingers as he turned to Zedd. "Now I also understand that other prophecy."
Zedd looked up. "Which one?"
Nathan leaned close. "You remember: 'Someday, someone born not of this world will have to save it.' Now it makes more sense"
Zedd frowned. " Not to me."
Nathan flicked a hand. "Well, we'll have to work out the details later."
Chapter 64 pg 593
"I like my new name, too." He added. "I'm finally used to it. You know, comfortable with it."
When they married, Tom had taken her name, Rahl, so that they could carry it on in the new world. It seemed only fitting that the man who had given them their new life should be remembered in some fashion.
So The Law of Nines takes place in the new world. the world without magic. it sounds alot like our world. Great descriptive naratives give this book a great feel. The overall feel of the book is more that of a thriller than fantasy, which may be attributed to the setting. Either way I'm enjoying the continuity between the Sword of Truth, and The Law of Nines. If you have not read any of the sword of truth novels, go out and grab Wizard's First Rule.
Enjoy the Juxtaposition between his old picture and the new one, Can't see if the Pony tail is still there...but I hope it is.

The world Loves blood. not peace
I thought I'd take a minute and reflect on how much this world seems to love blood. I don't mean in vampiresque way, or in a masochistic way - but more so from an observational stand point. Today is September 11th, 2009. Eight years post a tragedy that killed 3000+ Americans. I have spoken with many friends and family today about said events. Opinions differentiate so vastly on the issues and how they feel about them. For instance some people are more so worried about the events and who caused them, those so called "responsible" while others are focused on the people lost on that day. Still others are upset over the lack of explanation of the days events eight years later. I went to yahoo.com this morning and saw that the most popular search is "September 11th, 2001" Understandable for sure. however upon clicking the link to tap the supreme researching power of the internet, I'm greeted by the first link....Wikipedia.
I thought about editing the wiki page, but then decided to not even read it. Opinion from here on out. I think the most important thing we can remember from 9/11/01 besides the people that were lost, is the quad erat demonstrandum from that day, formally proving that we, as Americans, fail are too focused on payback. it's nice to see the administration working on Health Care instead, mystery solving. I'm sorry for the rant, seemed necessary at the time. The pictures by the way are from "Best of the Best II" a movie that illustrates the preceding point more eloquently.
Peace.

Brand New is a great band.
So, If you haven't heard Daisy then you are either a person who does not download music, or you are a liar. I have to say I've heard it (and plan on buying it)
It got me thinking about how awesome the progress brand new has made musically over the course of their albums. So I'm putting up their other 3 studio albums. Your favorite Weapon, Deja Entendu, and The Devil and God are Raging inside me. grab it here.
Enjoy... but make sure you go see them on their tour even some of the richest musicians are broke mother fuckers.
