I thought I'd take a minute and reflect on how much this world seems to love blood. I don't mean in vampiresque way, or in a masochistic way - but more so from an observational stand point. Today is September 11th, 2009. Eight years post a tragedy that killed 3000+ Americans. I have spoken with many friends and family today about said events. Opinions differentiate so vastly on the issues and how they feel about them. For instance some people are more so worried about the events and who caused them, those so called "responsible" while others are focused on the people lost on that day. Still others are upset over the lack of explanation of the days events eight years later. I went to yahoo.com this morning and saw that the most popular search is "September 11th, 2001" Understandable for sure. however upon clicking the link to tap the supreme researching power of the internet, I'm greeted by the first link....Wikipedia.
I thought about editing the wiki page, but then decided to not even read it. Opinion from here on out. I think the most important thing we can remember from 9/11/01 besides the people that were lost, is the quad erat demonstrandum from that day, formally proving that we, as Americans, fail are too focused on payback. it's nice to see the administration working on Health Care instead, mystery solving. I'm sorry for the rant, seemed necessary at the time. The pictures by the way are from "Best of the Best II" a movie that illustrates the preceding point more eloquently.
Peace.
